Scholarship Opportunities for Alabama Nursing Students
The Alabama Nurses Foundation is proud to support the next generation of nurses through two scholarship opportunities each year. We offer one scholarship in the spring and one in the fall to students enrolled in Alabama-based nursing programs. These scholarships aim to help dedicated students achieve their educational goals and contribute to the future of healthcare in Alabama.
Nurses Save Lives Car Tags: Driving Support for Alabama Nurses
Since its inception, the Nurses Save Lives car tag program has provided over $1.8 million in scholarships and support for nurses across the state. By purchasing or renewing a Nurses Save Lives car tag, you’re not just making a statement on the road – you’re helping to fund education and resources for the hardworking nurses who serve our communities every day.
Where are they now?
I am forever grateful for support from the Alabama Nurses Foundation scholarship. I was very fortunate to have been chosen for an award in the past that was put to great use during my pursuit of a doctoral degree. The funds contributed to support my tuition expenses during coursework. The scholarship afforded me financial relief and assisted my success in completing the degree. As a result, I earned my Ph.D., and I continue to support nursing education in the state of Alabama today. Thank you, ANF.
